Valhalla Rising - Siege of Paris

PaintRiot Studio is a small studio who creates miniatures and busts since 2019.

This project is focused on siege of Paris by the Vikings held in 845 which is the first Viking siege of the future capital of France.

Historical Context :

In 845, Ragnar Lodbrock was looking for new lands to conquer. It decides to sail with a fleet of 120 ships until the mouth of the Seine, around the current location of the city of Le Havre.

The Vikings went up the Seine, seized Rouen, and devastated the whole region. They pushed up to Saint-Riquier and made excursions to Saint-Germain-en-Laye and Rueil.

In March, Ragnar Lodbrok, decided to continue the raids, dating back along the Seine to arrive in Paris which at that time was mostly concentrated on the island of the city.

This project include :

- A new duel between Rollon and a French soldier.

These new miniatures are 3D sculpt by Alexis Bornot
- The two miniatures are also available in there bust version.

The new 1/10 Bust i hand sculpted myself
