ETU: Study Abroad is a 96-page hardcover book printed in full color.

This wonderful, graphic-novel size hardcover contains all the information you need to run interesting, authentic stories set in the UK, Poland, Italy, and Costa Rica. Take your students to places they've never seen before to experience new cultures, mysteries, and of course... monsters!

Archetype Cards

Twelve characters on 127x89mm on sturdy and durable 350gsm cardstock ready to hand out and play at home, store, or convention games!

Invite your players to your ETU: Study Abroad game (or any ETU game) using these campaign-exclusive postcards! Postcards are not included in late backer pledge tiers but can be purchased as add-ons.

Why GameOn? We ship our products all over the world through traditional distribution and direct to our partner retailers. We know not everyone has a great game store nearby though, so we ship direct to you as well. This lets us support everyone, and allows us to create fun accessories stores can't easily stock or sell, like our Archetype Cards, postcards, and other unpackaged extras.

ETU: Study Abroad is written and in layout. Your support allows us to get the word out to other fans (by far the hardest challenge for a small company like ours).

When you pledge, Game On Tabletop will let you select your region to determine the cost of shipping. If you want to find out how much shipping will cost, select the reward tier you want, add any add ons, and then select your region. Game On Tabletop will calculate your shipping right there.

We plan to deliver the PDFs of the book, cards, and pawns a few weeks after the campaign funds and we get the final backer list from Game On Tabletop. This means you get your rewards:

• Physical Goods: approximately six (6) months after funding depending on the printer, shipping, and unforeseen circumstances outside of our control

We deliver PDF materials through the Pinnacle website first, then through DriveThruRPG.com.

Physical Rewards

Once the campaign ends, Game On Tabletop's pledge manager opens and allows you to include additional Pinnacle products with your pledge and change your existing pledge. You can also add additional copies of any print goods you want from the reward tiers, such as extra Postcards or Pawns (if you want extra digital goods like PDFs of our other settings, you can just head over to our website to grab those).

Our Boosters are smaller support projects for our existing lines and come with Booster Rewards built-in rather than Stretch Goals. The books are written and in layout, the art is finished, and we're ready to send basically everything in the campaign to the printers right away! But campaigns are a vital part of our community and our business. By running a campaign for ETU: Study Abroad we can:

• Get the Word Out: We're a small company, and every time we release a product, via a crowdfunding campaign or not, folks are surprised to learn we've released another thing for them to play! A campaign helps as many folks as possible find out about our new games and products.
• Reward our Supporters in the Community: We know you folks love the things we do, it's why we're able to keep making the games and supplements you enjoy! There are all kinds of things we can do to show our thanks to our fans for supporting us early: better value for pledge levels, campaign-exclusives like our Postcards, etc!
• Gauge Interest: As we said, we're a small company. Knowing how many folks are interested in one of our new products lets us order the right number of units. That's super important in helping us keep the doors open and making the game you folks love!
• Reduce Shipping Costs: We do everything we can to keep the price of shipping as low as possible; from using the best services available to us, partnering with various fulfillment partners, paying a part of all your shipping costs ourselves, and letting you bundle multiple products in a campaign! It's cheaper to get multiple copies of the products you want in one pledge as add-ons for your group of friends, and even more so if you add in other bundles like the SWADE Essentials box set or Deadlands: The Weird West box set. Those last two options can only really happen during a campaign, so we want to give you folks as many opportunities as possible to grab the bundles you want!

Supporting Your Local Store

If you want to get ETU: Study Abroad (and other Pinnacle products) and support your local game store, make sure to let them know! Retailers can sign up for our newsletter to get discounted versions of the campaign rewards, including exclusives like the Postcards! Retailers also get their rewards when backer orders go out, usually several weeks before they show up in the traditional distribution chain.

If you just want to get ETU: Study Abroad as easily as possible, back this campaign at your desired tier and you're good to go! If you want to support your local store, you can pledge at a digital tier to get your PDFs as soon as possible and then order the print version of the book from your local store later this year. (Make sure to tell them or they might not order any copies on their own!)

So what is ETU? East Texas University is a college horror setting for the Savage Worlds roleplaying game. It takes place at a small but renowned college in the fantastic Southern climate of Pinebox, Texas. Players must contend with annoying roommates, murderous professors, and things that go bump in the night...all while trying to maintain good grades and graduate!

East Texas University offers a well-rounded syllabus of character creation, new Edges & Hindrances, gear, Setting Rules, and tours of campus and nearby Pinebox, Texas. For advanced credit, read the section on rituals and talismans. Finally, the Adventure Generator and encyclopedia of miscreants is sure to light a creative spark in even the most humorless campus parking enforcement officer. There are generator mechanics for parties and adventures as well as Ritual failure and a little thing we like to call “High Strangeness.”

New To RPGs? or Just New to Savage Worlds?

If you've never played a tabletop roleplaying game before, they're a great way to get a group of friends together have a blast. Think of the game like an interactive TV show; you and your friends play the main characters of your favorite genre (from swashbuckling pirates to gunslinging cowpokes, or anything else)! If you want to do something, you say what you want to do, roll to add in a chance of failure, and then someone who is the designated Game Master tells you what happens. The game master runs the rules of the world and plays all of the other characters you interact with, and at the end of the day, the only limit is what you and your friends can come up with!
